Joining the Uncle Why waitlist asks for one thing: your email address.
What we save
Your email, signup date, device category, operating system, and country estimated from your connection. We save only the country, not your city or precise location. Unavailable details are marked unknown. We do not ask for your child's name or age. Please use a parent's or adult's email address.
Why we use it
To confirm your place and let you know when Uncle Why is ready. Device and operating system categories help us understand which platforms people use. Country helps us understand where people are joining from; a VPN or proxy can affect this estimate. You can leave using the link in your confirmation email.
How it is handled
The waitlist is stored using Cloudflare. Resend delivers the emails. Each signup is also emailed to our team, and the list is accessible through a password-protected page.
The signup service uses a short-lived, hashed network identifier to limit spam. It does not store your full browser details or raw IP address in the waitlist. Our service providers also process connection information needed to operate and secure their services.

Email williamal.labis@gmail.com to ask about your information or request its deletion. Unsubscribing stops launch emails; you can also ask us to delete the record.
